A polo midi dress in khaki cotton-blend twill — a neat collar, cap sleeves, a sculpted high waist that opens into deep pleats through the skirt. Finished with a slim cord belt with gold-tone tips.

A note from the designer

Deep pleats from a sculpted high waist — the construction that does most of the work. The challenge was the pleat depth at the waist join: shallow and they collapse, deep and they overpower. The depth was set to hold the silhouette when standing and release when walking. The slim cord belt is restraint — the pleats are the statement.

Construction

Cap sleeves. Sculpted high waist. Deep pleated A-line skirt. Slim removable cord belt with gold-tone tips. Concealed back zip. Clean interior seams.
