A note from the designer

Silk taffeta is harder to get right than it looks — it wants to crease, it wants to shine the wrong way. Treating it as a structured fabric rather than a flowy one was the call. The square neckline holds because taffeta is rigid enough to hold a line. The belt isn't decorative; it's load-bearing on the silhouette.
